At an early age, I was intrigued by business and enjoyed reading the history of enterprising Canadians who impacted the world in which we live today. Through another CPA in my family, I was introduced to the role of the accountant which further reinforced my interest in the business world. Together, these influences set me on a path to study commerce and then to further my education and professional skills in accounting and tax.

As a member of the Hendry Warren team, I enjoy working with clients to understand their business. In addition to meeting their assurance and tax needs, this enables me to help them navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. The experience I have gained supporting clients who operate in different industries allows me to pass my knowledge and enthusiasm for the profession on to new staff members. I also recognize the importance of community involvement and have participated in various volunteer activities over the years, most recently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Heron Emergency Food Centre.

Michael graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce and joined Hendry Warren in October 2018. He is a member of CPA Canada and CPA Ontario and obtained his CPA designation in December 2021.
