Working in Human Resources in the professional services industry has been an exciting, challenging and rewarding career thus far. HR has so many facets and interesting elements, one thing I never am is bored! I especially enjoy helping CPA students as Student Program Manager; knowing that I am adding value to the student experience is very gratifying.

The culture of Hendry Warren is what drew me to the Firm. Since joining, I have most enjoyed the attitude of collaboration which flows through all levels—everyone really is here to help each other which I think enables us all to succeed together as a team. In my personal time I enjoy cooking (and eating), exercising, being outdoors and having fun with my husband and two children.

Krista joined Hendry Warren LLP as their Human Resources Manager in June of 2019 with over 6 years’ previous HR experience in the professional accounting services industry. She completed a Bachelor Arts Degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Dalhousie University in 2006, a Certificate in Human Resource Management along with a Payroll Compliance Practitioner certificate (PCP) from Eastern College in 2012, the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation in 2014, and the Certified Human Resources Leader designation in 2020.

Krista is a member of the Human Resource Professionals Association (HRPA) and the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA).
