Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 11:01AM This year, the Hendry Warren Running Tallies are joining tens of thousands of Canadians to particpate in the 20th annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.
The Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, and education and health promotion initiatives. This year's event takes place on Sunday, October 2 and is sure to be a fun and uplifting day.
With your support, the Foundation will continue funding breast cancer research, education and health promotion initiatives across the country, making a difference from coast to coast. To learn more about the work the Foundation does, visit www.cbcf.org.

Despite the chilly weather on Sunday October 2, 2011, the run was a success and the Hendry Warren Running Tallies team surpassed its fundraising goal! We raised $1,870 to support the breast cancer research, and education and health promotion initiatives. Overall, 170,000 Canadians raised over $30 million.

The Cook Book for the Food Bank is a staff initiative which raises money for the Ottawa Food Bank. When someone uploads a recipe to add to our collection, we’ll make a $5 donation to the Ottawa Food Bank.
Copies of the cook book can also be purchased at our office for $5, which will be donated to the Food Bank. There are lots of great recipes included in the book, all contributed by the staff and partners at Hendry Warren.
