Ian W. Hendry, CA, CFP

Ian believes in providing advice which is built upon a thorough understanding of his client's objectives and individual circumstances. His areas of expertise encompass corporate and personal tax planning, financial and estate planning and wealth management.

Ian is responsible for Human Resources development for the firm. These responsibilities include recruiting top students and, in conjunction with the other partners and senior staff, helping them to reach their full potential. Our firm has had a near perfect success rate in the Uniform Final Examination over the past 3 years.

With an extensive teaching background at the University of Ottawa, Ian prides himself in effectively communicating financial concepts to clients. Clients who have a better understanding of their financial results and issues relating to them make better decisions. 

Ian believes in giving back to his community. He is Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa and Past Chair of Roger's House and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Investment Committee for the Ottawa Senators Foundation and the Finance Committee of the CHEO Foundation. 

A Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner,  and Trust and Estate Practitioner, Ian brings 30 years of practical experience and professional training to provide timely, well reasoned solutions to a variey of client situations.
